Inspiration strikes again!

This time I am channelling two of the fiercest bloggers ever! Nicolette Mason and Gabi Gregg were some of the first bloggers I started following and they amazed me with their oh so cool attitude and amazing outfits! One can only wonder about their amazing closets . . .


I'm not a huge fan of animals and even less of a fan of creepy crawlies but somehow I've managed to build up quite a jewellery collection that features cats & dogs, horses, insects and even a lobster!

Just in time

I went a bit mad at the weekend buying new purchases! I was supposed to be sticking to sale items but due to increasing weight loss (almost 3 stone now) I couldn't resist getting a few bits to celebrate and using my excuse of nothing fits anymore.


When I saw these trousers in New Look I wondered if I would get much wear out of them with summer seemingly over but mum persuaded me to get them and it was a stroke of genius as I wore them today in the very belated summer weather! They're so comfy and lightweight I'm sure they will make regular appearances:

Inspiring Eyebrow

When I saw Arched Eyebrow blogger Bethany wearing this blouse I knew I had to have it! Well I went into Primark yesterday and there it was so I scooped it up along with a couple of things from Dorothy Perkins and here we are:

Fashionable friend

Whilst looking for some trousers for work I stumbled on these beauties in M&S of all places! They reminded me of one of the prints from the Clements Riberio collection in Evans as they are a cute heart print pattern.


Plus check out my new pet! I got him last Sunday when I worked at the Loughborough Mela. After seeing balloon animals gracing the runways of last season shows I was surprised to see a local balloon seller in town with them!

Where I get personal

It's all change over here at My Stylish Life! The new job is going well but it is challenging and tiring so I haven't been at my best outfit wise. Also the office is very casual so my usual style of dressing up doesn't really go.


On a personal note I have embarked on The Cambridge Weight Plan. I've always been overweight and learned to live with it but not like it so I finally decided to do something about it. The ma is doing it too so we can do it together, which is great from a support angle. I have lost almost 2 stone so far and there is still more to go but I am determined to do it and get to a stage where I am happy about my weight.


I know that this is a drastic way to loose weight ( it is a very low calorie diet consisting of shakes, soups, bars and small meals) but I feel like this plan is working for me.


I hope that whilst you may not agree with what I am doing, you can understand why and I hope that you will continue to read as I will be posting again! I feel that now it's time to be honest with you readers and in case anyone was wondering what had happened to me.
