Certainly was living well yesterday with the ma in London! We had lunch at Yotam Ottolenghi's new restaurant Nopi, which was delicious! A feast of vegetables and savoury cheesecake followed by churros and fennel sugar. Then onto Madam Butterfly at the Royal Albert Hall where the opera was performed in the round, and ending in cocktails at the Beaufort bar at The Savoy. Truely a day of decadence and fabulousness!
The age old question still rages on of what does one wear during the day to fancy places? I'm always striving for the right mix of casual and dressy and think I'm getting there:

I love this outfit - I am obsessed with this jacket from Evans, and I'm excited to see a real body in it - it looks awesome. I also love the whole monochromatic theme here.
